MAHWAH, N.J. – Three Pioneers were in double figures in scoring as the William Paterson women's basketball team (10-7, 6-4 NJAC) rolled to a 70-48 victory at Ramapo (4-13, 2-8 NJAC) Jan. 20.
Sophomore guard
Jackie Rodriguez (Sayreville, N.J./Sayreville War Memorial) scored a game-best 16 points while dishing a career-best five assists. Senior forward
Alex Milne (Howell, N.J./Howell) compiled her sixth double-double of the season with 12 tallies and 10 rebounds, while senior guard
Brittany Harden (Millville, N.J./Sacred Heart) added 10 points.
The Pioneers shot a scorching 51.9 (14-27) percent from the floor on their way to a 34-23 halftime lead, and finished the contest with just seven turnovers while knocking down six of 17 (.353) three-point attempts.
Senior forward
Sadi Bridgeman (Washington Heights, N.Y./Mother Cabrini) and junior guard
Nikole Williams (Valley Stream, N.Y./Valley Stream Central) each scored seven points for WP.
Junior forward Kellie Lane had 10 points and eight rebounds for the Roadrunners. Senior forward Alyson Oostdyk collected eight tallies and 12 boards.
William Paterson will host Rutgers-Camden Saturday, Jan. 23, at 1:00 p.m.
