Video Highlights WAYNE, N.J. – The William Paterson women's soccer team (2-5-2, 0-2-1 NJAC) lost 4-0 to visiting No. 23/19 Montclair State (8-1-1, 2-0-1 NJAC) Sept. 30.
Sophomore Tyler Madison made it a 1-0 Red Hawk edge 5:12 into the contest when senior Janae Geonnetti sent a cross in from the right sideline and Madison cleaned up the bouncing ball in the box.
Senior Martina Landeka headed in a ball from junior Kimberly Mignone for a 2-0 score in the 46th minute, and Madison collected her second goal of the night a minute later when she received a pass near the top of the box from junior Mallori Higbee and struck to the right side of the frame.
A long ball from the right sideline skimmed off a WP defender for an own goal in the 63rd minute.
Sophomore
Angela Sandelli (Landing, N.J./Roxbury) made six saves for the Pioneers, and freshman Erinne Finlayson posted three stops for Montclair State.
William Paterson will play at Stockton Saturday, Oct. 3, at 3:00 p.m.
