GALLOWAY, N.J. – Senior midfielder
Elena Grady (Washington Twp., N.J./Our Lady of Mercy) found the back of the net in the 41st minute and the William Paterson women's soccer team (3-5-2, 1-2-1 NJAC) came away with a 1-0 victory at Stockton (7-2-3, 0-1-3) Oct. 3.
Grady chipped in a loose ball at the 40:55 mark for her first goal of the season and the first game winner of her career.
Freshman
Liz Murzyn (Glassboro, N.J./Glassboro) made two saves for her first career shutout, and freshman Nicole Pallante posted one stop for the Ospreys.
William Paterson will celebrate Pioneer Pride Week with giveaways for WP students Tuesday, Oct. 6, when it hosts Drew at 7:00 p.m.
