Tennis Team Suffers 8-1 Loss at TCNJ

LaBruna Victorious at First Singles for Pioneers

Junior Brittany LaBruna avenged her one loss from a year ago with a 7-5, 6-1 victory at TCNJ.

EWING, N.J. – Junior Brittany LaBruna (Bloomingdale, N.J./Continental Academy) was a winner at first singles, but the William Paterson tennis team (1-3, 1-2 NJAC) dropped an 8-1 team decision to host The College of New Jersey (5-0, 5-0 NJAC) Sept. 19.

LaBruna earned a 7-5, 6-1 victory against Brittany Reedman, the same player who handed LaBruna her only loss last season (2-6, 6-2, 1-6 in the ITA/USTA Regional semifinals).

William Paterson will play at St. Joseph's-Long Island Sunday, Sept. 20, at 12:00 p.m.
