EDWARDSVILLE, PA. – William Paterson (2-3-1) suffered a 2-0 women's soccer loss at Wilkes (2-4-1) Sept. 16.
 
Junior Dianna Connor slotted freshman Mary Catherine Treuting's pass across the goal line during the final minute of the first half, handing the Colonels a 1-0 advantage.
 
Sophomore Julia Tyler tacked on an insurance goal at the 69:00 mark, heading in sophomore Olivia Schlottmann's corner kick.
 
Senior Kat Clint (Flanders, N.J./Mount Olive) made six saves for the Pioneers, and senior Kate Mahoney posted four stops for Wilkes.
 
William Paterson will start conference play Saturday, Sept. 19, at Rutgers-Camden at 1:00 p.m.
