Three Different Goal Scorers Contribute for Pioneers

MADISON, N.J. – Three different Pioneers found the back of the cage and senior Meg Davies (Havertown, Pa./Haverford) made five saves for the shutout as the William Paterson field hockey team (3-3) secured a 3-0 victory at Drew (1-5) Sept. 15.

Junior midfielder Elizabeth Kerr (Maple Shade, N.J./Maple Shade) collected her own rebound and scored her first goal of the season at the 16:17 mark, and senior forward Angelica Giammetta (Wayne, N.J./Wayne Hills) made it a 2-0 lead when she knocked in a rebound in the 27th minute. Junior back Jessie Super (Oaklyn, N.J./Collingswood) earned her first career points when Giammetta played a ball to the back post and Super scored at the 41:25 mark.
