NJAC Tournament Information Page WP Tournament Notes (PDF) GLASSBORO, N.J. – Third-seeded William Paterson (27-10-1, 13-5 NJAC) will take on top-seeded and ninth-ranked Rowan (34-5, 14-4 NJAC) in an elimination game of the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Softball Tournament Saturday, May 2, at 10:00 a.m. at Rowan University.

WP students with ID will be admitted for free. General Admission is $5.00, and students, children 12 and under, and senior citizens will be admitted for $2.00.
The winner of the WP/Rowan contest will then face Ramapo Saturday at 2:00 p.m. Rowan is hosting the remainder of the double-elimination tournament that ends Sunday, May 3.
The Pioneers had their 14-game win streak snapped by a 3-1 loss against second-seeded Ramapo (26-11-1, 13-4-1 NJAC) May 1 in the second round. WP opened the postseason with a 5-0 first-round victory against fourth-seeded The College of New Jersey (19-11, 12-6 NJAC) April 28. Earlier this season, William Paterson earned 3-0 and 8-0 (six innings) victories at No. 9 Rowan on April 21, and the Pioneers are looking to win their fifth NJAC Tournament title (1999, 2003, 2005, 2009).
First-team all-NJAC sophomore infielder
Rachel Wasilak (Livingston, N.J./Livingston) leads WP with a .378 batting average, 10 doubles and 30 RBI while adding three triples and 21 runs scored. Senior outfielder
Kelsey Principe (Parsippany, N.J./Parsippany), a member of the All-NJAC First Team, is hitting .317 with a team-best 11 sacrifice bunts, five triples and 24 runs scored while compiling a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage (55 putouts, five assists).
First-team all-conference sophomore
Allison Podmajersky (Red Bank, N.J./Middletown South) is 11-5 with a 1.17 earned-run average in 16 starts and 20 appearances inside the circle, posting 115 strikeouts and 19 walks in 120.0 innings pitched. Classmate
Gabrielle Castelli (Cedar Grove, N.J./Cedar Grove) is 10-4 with a 1.47 ERA in 11 starts and 15 appearances with 59 strikeouts and 17 walks in 71.1 innings. She also is hitting .362 in 47 at-bats while contributing four doubles and 15 RBI.
