NJAC Tournament Information WAYNE, N.J. – Third-seeded William Paterson (26-9-1, 13-5 NJAC) will host fourth-seeded The College of New Jersey (19-10, 12-6 NJAC) in the first round of the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Softball Tournament Tuesday, April 28, at 4:00 p.m. at Pioneer Softball Field.

WP students with ID will be admitted for free. General Admission is $5.00, and students, children 12 and under, and senior citizens will be admitted for $2.00.
Top-seeded Rowan will host the remainder of the double-elimination tournament Friday-Sunday, May 1-3. The winner of the WP/TCNJ game will face the winner of the contest between No. 2 seed Ramapo (24-11-1, 13-4-1 NJAC) and No. 5 seed Kean (23-9-1, 11-6-1 NJAC) on Friday at 3:00 p.m. The WP/TCNJ loser will take on the winner of the Rowan (33-4, 14-4 NJAC) vs. No. 6 Rutgers-Camden (21-11-1, 11-7 NJAC) game on Friday at 1:00 p.m.
The Pioneers enter the postseason riding a 13-game win streak dating back to April 12. Earlier this season, TCNJ earned a pair of 3-0 victories at William Paterson on March 29. The Pioneers are looking to win their fifth NJAC Tournament title (1999, 2003, 2005, 2009).
Sophomore infielder
Rachel Wasilak (Livingston, N.J./Livingston) leads the WP everyday players with a .377 batting average, posting team highs of eight doubles and 28 RBI while adding three triples and 20 runs scored. Senior outfielder
Kelsey Principe (Parsippany, N.J./Parsippany) is hitting .337 with a team-best 10 sacrifice bunts, five triples and 23 runs scored.
Sophomore
Allison Podmajersky (Red Bank, N.J./Middletown South) is 10-4 with a 1.11 earned-run average in 14 starts and 18 appearances inside the circle, posting 105 strikeouts and 18 walks in 107.0 innings pitched. Classmate
Gabrielle Castelli (Cedar Grove, N.J./Cedar Grove) is 10-4 with a 1.47 ERA in 11 starts and 15 appearances with 59 strikeouts and 17 walks in 71.1 innings. She also is hitting .390 in 41 at-bats while posting four doubles and 15 RBI.
