HUNTINGDON, PA. – Senior midfielder
Felicia Wetzel (Point Pleasant, N.J./Wallkill Valley Regional) converted a penalty stroke in overtime, lifting eighth-seeded William Paterson (11-8) to a 3-2 upset victory against top-seeded Juniata (11-7) in the ECAC Field Hockey Mid-Atlantic Tournament quarterfinals Nov. 11.
WP advances to the semifinals Saturday, Nov. 14, against fourth-seeded Stevenson at FDU-Florham at 5:00 p.m.
Junior forward
Maureen Gill (Branchville, N.J./High Point Regional) struck for her first career goal, unassisted, to get the Pioneers on the scoreboard 9:50 into the contest.
Junior Brittani LaFollette leveled the score in the 19th minute, connecting on a Sarah Bilheimer pass.
Sophomore forward
Carly Satter (Branchville, N.J./High Point Regional) pushed WP back ahead at the 20:25 mark, finding the back of the cage off a Wetzel assist.
Senior Brittany Meier pulled the Eagles even at 2-2 in the 49th minute with an unassisted goal.
The Pioneers were awarded a penalty stroke with 1:11 remaining in overtime, and Wetzel buried it for her fifth goal of the season.

Meg Davies (Havertown, Pa./Haverford) came up with eight saves for the Pioneers, and freshman Kylie Edwards had two stops for Juniata.
