MAHWAH, N.J. – William Paterson (7-4, 2-0 NJAC) ran its win streak to four matches with a 4-2 field hockey conference victory Oct. 6 at Ramapo (1-10, 0-2 NNJAC).
 
Junior Nicole Healy handed the Roadrunners a 1-0 lead in the 13th minute, but senior midfielder Mollie Kearns (Wanaque, N.J./Lakeland Regional) scored the equalizer at the 18:29 markoff an assist from sophomore forward Carly Satter (Branchville, N.J./High Point Regional).
 
Junior midfielder Meghin Stanton (Chesterfield, N.J./Northern Burlington Regional) made it a 2-1 margin 86 seconds later, finishing a pass from junior midfielder Elizabeth Kerr (Maple Shade, N.J./Maple Shade), and senior forward Angelica Giammetta (Wayne, N.J./Wayne Hills) added a strike less than four minutes before halftime, converting a pass by junior forward Maureen Gill (Branchville, N.J./High Point Regional).
 
Senior midfielder McKenna Reynolds (Delran, N.J./Delran) found the back of the cage at the 40:00 mark as Satter picked up her second assist of the game.
 
Ramapo's Christina Bacino finished the scoring with an unassisted goal in the 42nd minute.
 
Senior goalie Meg Davies (Havertown, Pa./Haverford) collected five saves for the Pioneers. Junior Emily Kramer and sophomore Emily Wisneski combined for eight Roadrunner stops.
 
William Paterson will celebrate Pioneer Pride Week with giveaways for WP students Thursday, Oct. 8, when WP hosts Misericordia at 7:00 p.m.
