Video Highlights WAYNE, N.J. – The William Paterson field hockey team (10-6, 3-2 NJAC) suffered a 3-0 loss against visiting No. 2 The College of New Jersey (14-1, 5-0 NJAC) Oct. 24.
Junior Lexi Smith dodged a defender and fired to the back of the cage for a 1-0 score 4:04 into the contest, then scored another unassisted goal 11 minutes later when she brought the ball down the left side and shot into the right corner of the cage.
The Lions tacked on a final goal in the 61st minute as freshman midfielder Sidney Padilla found senior forward Alicia Wagner in front of the goal and she finished to the right side.

Meg Davies (Havertown, Pa./Haverford) collected 11 saves for the Pioneers, and junior Kelly Schlupp collected three stops for TCNJ.
