LOUISVILLE, KY. – Coming off its 12th NCAA Tournament appearance in program history, the William Paterson softball team is ranked 25th in the 2015 National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Preseason Top 25 Poll released Jan. 28.
 
WP was 31-11 overall and 15-3 in New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) play last spring, earning the top seed for the NJAC Tournament before receiving a bid to the 2014 NCAA Tournament. The Pioneers return 16 letterwinners from that team, including seven position starters and three pitchers.
 
William Paterson will start its 2015 season at the NTC Spring Games in Clermont, Fla., facing Hope and Plattsburgh State on Saturday, March 14.
