NEW YORK, N.Y. – Freshman
Anthony Taboadela (Rockaway, N.J./Morris Hills) was a triple winner to help lead the William Paterson men's swimming and diving team (10-1) to a 129-77 victory at Lehman (4-4) Jan. 22.
Taboadela registered victories in the 200 IM (2:02.45), 200 back (2:02.91) and 200 breast (2:20.43). Junior
Nicolai Robinson (Matawan, N.J./Old Bridge) was a double winner, touching first in the 200 (1:52.78) and 500 (5:20.11) frees.
Sophomore
Nick Cowie (Newton, N.J./Newton) swam a personal best in the 200 fly (2:05.48), classmate
Jeremy Oiler (Hamilton, N.J./Nottingham) finished first in the 1,000 free (11:07.12) and sophomore
Kenny Kneitel (Paramus, N.J./Paramus) won both the one-meter (183.0) and three-meter (144.68) dives.
The Pioneers will host Bard Saturday, Jan. 24, at 1:00 p.m. WP students will be eligible to win a GoPro Hero 3 and a Samsung Galaxy Tab 4, the first 75 will receive a Pioneer towel, and the first 25 will take home a Pioneer stadium chair.
