Box Score 2 YORK, N.Y. – The William Paterson volleyball team improved to 11-0 this season with 3-0 victories against Mount St. Vincent (1-8) and York, N.Y. (1-10) Sept. 20.
Senior middle hitter
Shauna VanDeRee (Waldwick, N.J./Waldwick) had a double-double with 11 digs and a match-best 12 kills during the 25-19, 25-20, 27-25 win against the Dolphins. Senior setter
Danielle Koukos (Midland Park, N.J./Midland Park) posted 21 assists and seven digs, junior outside hitter/opposite hitter
Nicole Spicer (Whiting, N.J./Manchester Twp.) collected five kills and a team-high 13 digs, and senior outside hitter
Daniella Salemo (Ramsey, N.J./Ramsey) added 10 digs.
The Pioneers defeated the Cardinals, 25-12, 25-19, 25-16. Sophomore outside hitter
Erin Roach (Clark, N.J./Union County Vo-Tech) paced the Pioneers with nine kills, senior
Alaina Clark (Paramus, N.J./Paramus) and sophomore
Erinn Carson (Wood-Ridge, N.J./Wood-Ridge) each had eight assists, and freshman libero
Julianna Ginefra (Springfield, N.J./Jonathan Dayton) posted nine digs.
William Paterson will host Rutgers-Camden Tuesday, Sept. 23, at 7:00 p.m.
