MADISON, N.J. – Sophomore midfielder
Sidney Gabrich (Washington, N.J./Warren Hills Regional) staked the William Paterson women's soccer team (1-1-3) to an early lead the Pioneers held on for a 1-1, double-overtime tie at FDU-Florham (2-2-1) Sept. 13.
Gabrich scored her second goal in as many matches when she finished junior
Gina Cowdrick's (Island Heights, N.J./Central Regional) pass on 2-on-1 off a turnover, opening the scoring 4:09 into the match.
Marissa Salava got the equalizer with 4:35 remaining in regulation, cleaning up a loose ball in the box.
Junior
Kat Clint (Flanders, N.J./Mount Olive) did not make a save for WP, while Annie George had five stops for the Devils.
William Paterson will host Wilkes Wednesday, Sept. 17, at 7:00 p.m.
