Men’s Swimming and Diving Gets Past CSI, 126-96

Pioneers Led by Two Double Winners

Freshman Anthony Taboadela won the 200 IM (2:01.91) and 200 back (2:02.88) in a 126-96 victory at Staten Island.
STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – Four combined wins by sophomore Jeremy Oiler (Hamilton, N.J./Nottingham) and freshman Anthony Taboadela (Rockaway, N.J./Morris Hills) helped the William Paterson men's swimming and diving team (5-1) earn a 126-96 victory at Staten Island (2-3) Nov. 19.
 
Oiler touched first in the 500 (5:29.16) and 1.650 (18:48.51) frees, and Taboadela posted victories in the 200 IM (2:01.91) and 200 back (2:02.88).

Freshman Kyle Risley (Mays Landing, N.J./Mays Landing) won the 50 free (22.87), junior Eric Tracey (Newton, N.J./Kittatinny Regional) had a winning time of 51.52 in the 100 free, and classmate Donado Dervishi (Garfield, N.J./Garfield) finished first in the 200 breast (2:30.93).
 
William Paterson will host Purchase Saturday, Nov. 22, at 1:00 p.m.
