KINGS POINT, N.Y. – The William Paterson volleyball team (17-9) defeated Old Westbury (2-16), 3-0, before losing 3-0 to host U.S. Merchant Marine (22-8), 3-0, Oct. 25.

Alaina Clark (Paramus, N.J./Paramus) posted 19 assists and sophomore outside hitter
Erin Roach (Clark, N.J./Union County Vo-Tech) finished with five digs.
Ruth Vargas led Old Westbury with three kills and five assists, while Shannon Mullen collected six digs.

Danielle Koukos (Midland Park, N.J./Midland Park) dished 16 assists and junior outside hitter
Michelle Merida (Parsippany, N.J./Parsippany) had 13 digs.
Cassandra Palma paced USMMA with 12 kills, Kayla Gleason posted 32 assists and Gabby Marioakis had 14 digs.
William Paterson will celebrate Senior Night Tuesday, Oct. 28, in the regular-season finale against Rutgers-Newark at 7:00 p.m.
