Video Highlights WAYNE, N.J. – After holding the Profs scoreless during the first half, William Paterson (4-8-3, 1-6 NJAC) couldn't hold off Rowan (10-3-1, 5-1-1 NJAC ) during the second half, suffering a 4-0 home loss Oct. 18.
Sophomore midfielder Megan Carchidi headed in senior midfielder Victoria Camera's cross from the right wing to open the scoring 1:35 into the second period, and the two connected again at the 49:24 mark to make it a 2-0 score.
Camera's cross resulted in a Melissa Kelly goal when she knocked the ball off the defender and past the back post in the 60th minute, and senior forward Erika Suhl tapped in Carchidi's cross from the left wing at the 78:30 mark to finish the scoring.
Freshman
Angela Sandelli (Landing, N.J./Roxbury) made nine saves for WP, and sophomore Carleigh Trivino posted one stop for Rowan.
William Paterson will compete at Vassar Wednesday, Oct. 22, at 4:00 p.m.
