POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – A goal in the fourth minute was the difference as the William Paterson women's soccer team (4-9-3) suffered a 1-0 loss at Vassar (8-4-2) Oct. 22.
 
Jordyn Matthews' long shot found the distance 3:37 into the contest for the lone goal.
 
Freshman Angela Sandelli (Landing, N.J./Roxbury) made six saves for WP, and Emma Nichols had one stop for Vassar.
 
William Paterson will play at The College of New Jersey Saturday, Oct. 25, at 11:00 a.m.
