WAYNE, N.J. – The William Paterson volleyball team (15-4) lost to visiting Baruch (9-12) in straight sets, 21-25, 20-25, 17-25, Oct. 11.
 
Senior middle hitter Shauna VanDeRee (Waldwick, N.J./Waldwick) led the Pioneers with 12 kills, senior setter Alaina Clark (Paramus, N.J./Paramus) had 15 assists and sophomore outside hitter Erin Roach (Clark, N.J./Union County Vo-Tech) contributed nine digs.
 
Sophomore middle blocker Symone Green and junior outside hitter McKenzie Davidson each had nine kills for the Bearcats. Junior setter Crystle Dela Cruz dished 31 assists, junior libero Amy Sung had 14 digs and sophomore defensive specialist Marisa Bou served six aces.
 
William Paterson will play at Purchase Tuesday, Oct. 14, at 7:00 p.m.
