WAYNE, N.J. – Four Pioneers were double winners, leading William Paterson (2-3) to a 6-3 tennis victory against visiting Baruch (3-2) Sept. 19.

Freshman Brittany LaBruna (Bloomingdale, N.J./Continental Academy) and junior Kristy Daubert (Cranford, N.J./Cranford) earned an 8-6 win at first doubles against Allie Jackson-Hing and Amandine Le Goupil-Maier. Senior Mary Skretkowicz (Midland Park, N.J./Midland Park) and junior Jessica Daniels (Edison, N.J./Edison) matched that effort with an 8-6 victory against Jennafer Mukofsky and Lisa Kurner at second doubles.

LaBruna posted a 6-2, 6-4 win over Jackson-Hing at first singles, and Skretkowicz was a 6-3, 6-4 winner at second singles against Le Goupil-Maier. Daniels posted a 6-3, 7-5 third-singles victory against Mukofsky, and Daubert contributed a 6-0, 6-1 win at fourth singles against Kurner.

William Paterson will compete at The College of New Jersey Saturday, Sept. 21, at 1:00 p.m.
