PITMAN, N.J. – Fourth-seeded William Paterson (17-9, 11-7 NJAC) will play at top-seeded Ramapo (21-4, 15-3 NJAC) in the semifinal round of the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Men's Basketball Tournament Tuesday, Feb. 19, at 7:00 p.m.  Live statistics will be available.

The winner will advance to the championship game Friday, Feb. 22, at 7:00 p.m. at the site of the highest remaining seed.  General Admission is $5.00.  Students, children 12 and under, and senior citizens will be admitted for $2.00.

The Pioneers swept the regular-season series against the Roadrunners, earning a 65-64 win at No. 7 Ramapo Jan. 9 and a 61-60 victory against the No. 16 Roadrunners Feb. 13 in Wayne.

The Pioneers are 17-9 overall and 11-7 in the NJAC following a 71-56 win against fifth-seeded Rowan (17-9) Feb. 16 in the first round of the NJAC Tournament.  

Senior 6-5 guard/forward Lance Brown (Teaneck, N.J./Paterson Catholic), the 2012 NJAC Player of the Year and a second-team National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) all-American, leads WP with 14.2 points per game (seventh in league) while adding 7.5 rebounds per contest (seventh in conference).  A four-time NJAC Rookie of the Week, freshman 6-6 guard/forward Terik Bridgeman (Harlem, N.Y./Nia Prep) is contributing 10.2 points, a team-best 9.2 rebounds (tied-third in NJAC) and a league-high 1.7 blocks per game.  Senior 6-1 guard Rick DeStefano (Marlboro, N.J./Marlboro) is averaging 9.5 tallies per contest.

William Paterson was 24-4 overall and 11-2 in league play last season, winning the program's 11th NJAC Tournament title.
