Women’s Swimming & Diving Led by Relays on Day One of Met’s

Pioneers Earn Two Fourth-Place Finishes

Freshman Brittany English helped lead the Pioneers to a fourth-place finish in the 200 free relay B Final
PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Two fourth-place finishes highlighted the women's swimming & diving team's first day at the Metropolitan Swimming and Diving Championships Feb. 15 at Rutgers University.

The relay team of senior Taylor McKay (Fair Lawn, N.J./Fair Lawn), sophomore Sheri Brino (Ogdensburg, N.J./Wallkill Valley Regional), freshman Brittany English (Branchville, N.J./High Point Regional), and junior Lauren Carney (East Brunswick, N.J./East Brunswick) turned in a time of 1:46.54 to touch fourth in the 200 free relay B Final.

Senior Kerry Doris (East Brunswick, N.J./East Brunswick), McKay, Brino and Carney placed fourth in the 400 medley relay B Final (4:15.47).

William Paterson will continue competition at the Metropolitan Championships February 16-17.
