WAYNE, N.J. – The William Paterson men's swimming & diving team (5-1) earned a 143-93 victory against visiting Staten Island (4-1) Nov. 20.

Senior Jeffrey Jaeckel (Kenilworth, N.J./David Brearley) was a double winner for the Pioneers, posting scores of 256.35 in the one-meter and 243.55 in the three-meter dives.

Sophomore Eric Tracey (Newton, N.J./Kittatinny Regional) touched first in the 100 free (51.59) and recorded a personal-best time of 23.03 to place second in the 50 free. Senior Troy Buglio (Toms River, N.J./Toms River East) finished first in the 200 free (1:57.52).

The 200 free relay team of Buglio, Tracey, junior Bobby Boyton (Sewell, N.J./Clearview Regional), and sophomore Zachary Krakauskas (Egg Harbor City, N.J /Absegami) posted a winning time of 1:35.02.

William Paterson will host Mount St. Mary on Saturday, Dec. 7, at 1:00 p.m.
