BRONX, N.Y. – William Paterson's men's swimming & diving team (6-5) was defeated by Lehman (7-2), 128-115, Jan. 24.
Freshman
Zachary Krakauskas (Egg Harbor City, N.J./Absegami) posted a personal-best time of 1:00.77 to win the 100 back. Sophomore
Donado Dervishi (Garfield, N.J./Garfield) also set a personal record of 1:00.46 to take first in the 100 breast.
Junior
Jeffrey Jaeckel (Kenilworth, N.J./David Brearley) was a double-winner for the Pioneers, placing first in the one-meter (223.45) and the three-meter (216.05) dives.
Senior
Alex Carpenter (Jackson, N.J./Jackson Memorial) took second in the 200 free (1:56.55), and classmate
Sebastian Schrils (Washington, N.J./Warren Hills Regional) finished second in the 100 fly (55.14)
William Paterson will celebrate Senior Day when it hosts Bard on Saturday, Jan. 26, at 1:00 p.m.
