GLASSBORO, N.J. – The William Paterson volleyball team (8-3, 1-2 NJAC) dropped a 25-14, 25-19, 25-14 decision at Rowan (8-5, 2-1 NJAC) Sept. 20.

Sophomore middle hitter Shauna VanDeRee (Waldwick, N.J./Waldwick) led WP with six kills, junior outside hitter Amanda Morales (Lyndhurst, N.J./Lyndhurst) contributed eight digs and senior setter Liz Dykhouse (Wanaque, N.J./Lakeland Regional) tallied 10 assists and seven digs.  Sophomore outside hitter Taylor Woegens (Bogota, N.J./Bogota) had five kills, and junior middle hitter Erika Masso (Jersey City, N.J./Dickinson) and sophomore libero Katelyn Malloy (Leonia, N.J./Leonia) each collected seven digs.

Kate Havlicek was one of three Profs in double figures with 15 kills.  Sarah Hanrahan chipped in 11 digs and Nicole Ciandella dished out 43 assists.

William Paterson will compete at Manhattanville's tri-match Saturday, Sept. 22, facing the host Valiants at 11:00 a.m. and Sarah Lawrence at 1:00 p.m.
