WAYNE, N.J. – William Paterson (8-2) saw its New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) volleyball record even to 1-1 with a 3-0 loss to visiting Kean (8-4, 2-0 NJAC) Sept. 18 at the Rec Center.
The Cougars came away with a 25-11, 25-9, 25-19 victory. Senior setter
Liz Dykhouse (Wanaque, N.J./Lakeland Regional) contributed 13 assists, sophomore libero
Katelyn Malloy (Leonia, N.J./Leonia) had nine digs, sophomore outside hitter
Taylor Woegens (Bogota, N.J./Bogota) posted four kills and seven digs, and junior outside hitter
Amanda Morales (Lyndhurst, N.J./Lyndhurst) chipped in four kills and six digs.
Junior middle hitter Kaitlyn Hansen had a match-best 13 kills for Kean. Sophomore Jen Espinal collected 10 digs, and junior Kehaulani Vegas and sophomore Alana Aranjo each dished out 16 assists.
William Paterson will play at Rowan Thursday, Sept. 20, at 7:00 p.m.
