Women’s Swimming & Earns Victory against Sarah Lawrence

Pioneers Win 112-90

Senior Kerry Doris touched first in the 100 breast for the Pioneers.
BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – The William Paterson women's swimming and diving team (5-3) defeated Sarah Lawrence (3-2), 112-90, Dec. 12.

The Pioneers had two double winners. Sophomore Sheri Brino (Ogdensburg, N.J./Wallkill Valley Regional) touched first in the 200 IM (2:31.55) and the 100 back (1:07.65). Senior Taylor McKay (Fair Lawn, N.J./Fair Lawn) won the 200 free in 2:12.60 and the 100 fly in 1:07.51.

Freshman Gabrielle Porcaro (Belleville, N.J./Belleville) posted a personal-best time of 6:01.03 to win the 500 free. Porcaro also set another personal record in the 1,000 free (12:16.98), finishing second in the event.

Senior Kerry Doris (East Brunswick, N.J./East Brunswick) touched first in the 100 breast (1:20.13).

William Paterson will face the College of St. Elizabeth at Wightman Pool on Saturday, Dec. 15, at 1:00 p.m.
