PURCHASE, N.Y. – The William Paterson women's swimming and diving team (2-2) defeated Purchase (2-3), 104-93, Dec. 1.

Freshman Gabrielle Porcaro (Belleville, N.J./Belleville) was a double-winner for the Pioneers, touching first in the 1,000 free (12:46.31) and the 500 free (6:09.77), both personal-best times.

Senior Taylor McKay (Fair Lawn, N.J./Fair Lawn) won the 200 free (2:12.59) and classmate Kerry Doris (East Brunswick, N.J./East Brunswick) posted a winning time in the 100 breast (1:18.74).

Sophomore Sheri Brino (Ogdensburg, N.J./Wallkill Valley Regional) placed first in the 100 back (1:08.42), and junior Lauren Carney (East Brunswick, N.J./East Brunswick) won the 100 free (1:00.05). Junior Kathryn Burke (East Brunswick, N.J./East Brunswick) touched first in the 100 fly (1:07.40). 

William Paterson will face Maritime at Wightman Pool on Tuesday, Dec. 4, at 6:00 p.m.
