NEW YORK, N.Y. – The William Paterson men's swimming and diving team (0-1) suffered a 120-80 loss at Baruch (1-0) Oct. 27 during its season opener.

Sophomore Donado Dervishi (Garfield, N.J./Garfield) won the 100 breast (1:12.45), and the 200 free relay of Eric Tracey (Newton, N.J./Kittatinny Regional), Bobby Boyton (Sewell, N.J./Clearview Regional), Nicolai Robinson (Matawan, N.J./Old Bridge) and Joseph Pannullo (Hazlet, N.J./Raritan) turned in a winning time of 1:49.02.  Senior Sebastian Schrils (Washington, N.J./Warren Hills Regional) touched second in the 100 free (1:58.13; all distances in meters).

William Paterson will host Maritime Thursday, Nov. 1, in the Pioneers' home opener at 6:00 p.m.
