STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – Sophomores Taylor Woegens (Bogota, N.J./Bogota) and Shauna VanDeRee (Waldwick, N.J./Waldwick) posted 14 and 13 kills, respectively, as the William Paterson volleyball team (11-5) collected a 25-10, 18-25, 25-10, 25-17 victory at Staten Island (4-8) Oct. 2.

Senior setter Liz Dykhouse (Wanaque, N.J./Lakeland Regional) notched 18 assists and seven kills, and sophomore setter Danielle Koukos (Midland Park, N.J./Midland Park) had 15 assists and seven service aces.  Woegens served six aces, senior libero Alyssa Koukos (Midland Park, N.J./Midland Park) paced the Pioneers with 15 digs, and juniors Amanda Morales (Lyndhurst, N.J./Lyndhurst) and Erika Masso (Jersey City, N.J./Dickinson) each tallied seven kills.

Pola Poshrobko led the Dolphins with 10 kills, JeanMarie Lewandowski contributed 16 digs and Jennifer Samuel had 19 assists.

William Paterson will play at Montclair State Thursday, Oct. 4, at 7:00 p.m.
