CAMDEN, N.J. – William Paterson (1-2, 1-2 NJAC) recorded its first victory of the 2011 women's tennis season with a 9-0 sweep at Rutgers-Camden (0-4, 0-2 NJAC) Sept. 17.

Christina Puleo (Leonia, N.J./Leonia) won 6-0, 6-0 at first singles, and sophomore
Samantha Miller (Wes Keansburg, N.J./Raritan) earned a 6-0, 6-1 victory at second. Freshman
Kristy Daubert (Cranford, N.J./Cranford) secured a 7-6 (7-1), 6-1 win at third, and classmate
Jessica Daniels (Edison, N.J./Edison) was a 6-1, 6-1 winner at fourth singles. Sophomore
Mary Skretkowicz (Midland Park, N.J./Midland Park) posted a 6-0, 6-0 victory at fifth, and junior
Sonja Pedersen (Rockaway, N.J./Morris Knolls) won at sixth singles, 6-1, 6-0.
Puleo and Miller combined for an 8-1 victory at first doubles, Skretkowicz and Daniels were 8-2 winners at second, and sophomore
Justine Lawson (Haskell, N.J./Lakeland Regional) and freshman
Karissa Barongan (Lodi, N.J./Lodi) posted an 8-5 victory at third doubles .
The Pioneers will host St. Joseph's-Long Island Monday, Sept. 19, at 4:30 p.m.
