UNION, N.J. – William Paterson (16-10) suffered a 25-22, 25-15, 25-22 volleyball loss at Kean (11-20) Oct. 25.

Senior Kim Runge (Closter, N.J./Northern Valley Regional-Demarest) paced the Pioneers with 14 kills, adding five digs.  Freshman Katelyn Malloy (Leonia, N.J./Leonia) contributed 14 digs and five assists, and senior outside hitter Megan Maher (Wood-Ridge, N.J./Wood-Ridge) had eight kills and 11 digs.  Junior setter Liz Dykhouse (Wanaque, N.J./Lakeland Regional) posted four assists and 11 digs, and freshman setter Danielle Koukos (Midland Park, N.J./Midland Park) led WP with six assists.

Jennifer Espinal had 17 kills for the Cougars.  Lindsay Gordon had 29 assists and 11 digs, and Danica Meade contributed 12 digs.

William Paterson will finish the regular season and celebrate Senior Night Thursday, Oct. 27, against John Jay at 7:00 p.m.
