WAYNE, N.J. – The William Paterson women's swimming and diving team (11-2) earned a 113-49 victory against Post (1-5) Jan. 29 on Senior Day at Wightman Pool.
Senior
Lauren Horowitz (Hillsborough, N.J./Hillsborough) touched first in the 500 (6:00.95) and 1,000 (12:16.05) frees, while junior
Lesly Mendoza (Passaic, N.J./Paramus Catholic) won the 200 free (2:14.78) and 200 IM (2:29.81). Senior
Tara Graham (Rockaway, N.J./Morris Hills) finished first in the 100 back (1:08.07), junior
Brett Kuchin (Cherry Hill, N.J./Cherry Hill East) posted a winning time in the 100 breast (1:01.50), and freshman
Lauren Carney (East Brunswick, N.J./East Brunswick) touched first in the 200 back (2:32.30).
As part of the day's activities, the Pioneers honored seniors
Kirsten Shea (Turnersville, N.J./Washington Twp.), Horowitz and Graham.
William Paterson will host Ramapo Tuesday, Feb. 1, at 6:00 p.m.
