WAYNE, N.J. – The William Paterson tennis team (3-2, 0-2 NJAC) saw its two-match win streak come to an end with an 8-1 loss to visiting Rutgers-Newark (3-4, 1-3 NJAC) Sept. 22.

Senior Evelyn Tam (Paterson, N.J./Passaic County Tech) provided the lone point for the Pioneers, defeating Sara Ferreira at sixth singles, 6-1, 6-3.

William Paterson will host Baruch Saturday, Sept. 25, at 1:00 p.m.
