Porzio a Triple Winner as Men's Swimming and Diving Defeats Lehman

Pioneers Earn 119-106 Win against Lightning

Junior Anthony Porzio was a triple winner at Lehman.
BRONX, N.Y. – Junior Anthony Porzio (Toms River, N.J./Toms River North) was a triple winner, helping to lead the William Paterson men's swimming and diving team (5-1) to a 119-106 victory against Lehman (0-3) Nov. 13.

Porzio touched first in the 200 IM (2:14.20) and the 500 (5:21.04) and 1,000 (11:04.62) frees. Senior Andrew Scimeca (Lincoln Park, N.J./Morris County Tech) won the one-meter (233.25) and three-meter (269.15) dives, and sophomore Sebastian Schrils (Washington, N.J./Warren Hills Regional) posted victories in the 50 free (22.98) and 100 fly (56.33).

Sophomore Mazen Yousef (Toms River, N.J./Toms River East) won the 100 breast (1:06.60), classmate Tyler Grady (Ringwood, N.J./Lakeland Regional) registered a victory in the 100 back (1:00.10), and junior Edward Zappile (Oak Ridge, N.J./Jefferson Twp.) touched first in the 200 free (1:54.92).

William Paterson will host Marywood Wednesday, Nov. 17, at 6:00 p.m.
