PURCHASE, N.Y. – The William Paterson women's swimming and diving team (3-1) earned its third straight victory, an 111-98 win at Purchase (0-1) Nov. 1.
Junior
Brett Kuchin (Cherry Hill, N.J./Cherry Hill East) had wins in the 200 IM (2:28.61) and the 100 breast (1:13.50). The current New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Rookie of the Week, freshman
Giuliana Trapani (Mountain Lakes, N.J./Mountain Lakes) also was a double winner, touching first in the 50 (26.60) and 100 (59.14) frees.
Senior
Tara Graham (Rockaway, N.J./Morris Hills) won the 200 free (2:11.90), junior
Lesly Mendoza (Passaic, N.J./Paramus Catholic) finished first in the 100 fly (1:07.08), and freshman
Lauren Carney (East Brunswick, N.J./East Brunswick) took a victory in the 100 back (1:07.62).
William Paterson will host SUNY Maritime Wednesday, Nov. 3, at 6:00 p.m.
