NEW YORK, N.Y. – William Paterson (1-1) earned a hard-fought 110-95 victory at Baruch (0-1) in men's swimming action Oct. 28 (all distances in meters).

Junior Edward Zappile (Oak Ridge, N.J./Jefferson Twp.) was a double winner in the 400 (4:36.63) and 800 (9:42.89) frees. Freshman Jason Koros (Mays Landing, N.J./Oakcrest) touched first in the 200 free (2:10.58), classmate Christopher Ropka (Voorhees, N.J./Eastern Regional) won the 100 free (59.03), and sophomore Mazen Yousef (Toms River, N.J./Toms River East) took home a win in the 100 breast (1:11.79). Junior Jeremy Lim (Clifton, N.J./Clifton) registered a victory in the 100 fly (1:03.26).

William Paterson will return to action Monday, Nov. 1, at Purchase at 6:00 p.m.
