OLD WESTBURY, N.Y. – William Paterson (12-2) earned a pair of 3-0 volleyball victories during a tri-match Oct. 2, defeating Lehman (7-7), 25-13, 25-11, 25-20, and host Old Westbury (11-5), 25-19, 25-22, 25-23.

Against the Lightning, junior Kim Runge (Closter, N.J./Northern Valley Regional-Demarest) led all players with 13 kills, adding a team-best 13 digs. Classmate Megan Maher (Wood-Ridge, N.J./Wood-Ridge) had 19 assists, nine kills, three aces and six digs, and senior Jillian Bronowich (Secaucus, N.J./Secaucus) collected 13 assists.

During the win against the Panthers, Maher had a match-best 15 kills to go along with 13 assists and six digs. Bronowich posted 14 assists and 14 digs, Runge had 11 kills, and senior Michelle Leeder (Ridgefield, N.J./Ridgefield Memorial) contributed six kills and eight assists.

The Pioneers will play Rowan Tuesday, Oct. 5, at 7:00 p.m.
