Pioneers to Play Cougars at MSU at 11:00 a.m.

The Pioneers will face Kean Friday, May 1, at 11:00 a.m. at the Montclair State Softball Stadium.

WAYNE, N.J. – The sixth-seeded William Paterson softball team (22-19, 8-10 NJAC) will face fifth-seeded Kean (28-13, 10-8 NJAC) in a 2008 New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Tournament elimination game Friday, May 2, at 11:00 a.m. at the Montclair State Softball Stadium. The winner will advance to play Saturday, May 3, at 1:30 p.m. against an opponent to be determined. The Pioneers are coming off a 6-5 loss at No. 6 Montclair State April 30 in the opening round, while the Cougars lost at No. 15 Ramapo, 2-0. William Paterson and Kean previously met this season April 15 in Union, with the Cougars coming away with 3-2 and 8-2 victories.
