WAYNE , N.J. – The William Paterson volleyball team (11-2) earned a pair of 3-0 victories against Lehman (1-4) and Arcadia (7-7) Sept. 22 at the Rec Center.

The Pioneers defeated the Lightning in the first match of the day, 30-15, 30-15 and 30-22. Sophomore Kelly Helfrich (Clark, N.J./Arthur L. Johnson) posted 15 kills, 15 digs and four block solos. Senior Dana Hansen (Fair Lawn, N.J./Fair Lawn) led William Paterson with 17 assists against Lehman.

William Paterson earned a 30-27, 30-27, 30-24 win against Arcadia. Senior Tamara Miller (Maplewood, N.J./Columbia) had a match-best 32 digs, Helfrich led the team in kills (16) and block solos (eight), and sophomore Samantha Reed (Dumont, N.J./Dumont) added 15 digs.

William Paterson will return to action Tuesday, Sept. 25, at Rutgers-Camden at 7:00 p.m.
