WAYNE, N.J. – The William Paterson women's tennis team (1-1) fell in its home opener to Hunter, 7-2, Sept. 19.
Senior
Cristina Reilly (Seaville, N.J./Wildwood Catholic) and junior
Ashley Hessenkemper (Brick Twp., N.J./Brick Twp.) combined to earn an 8-3 victory at third doubles, and Hessenkemper provided the Pioneers with their other point, a 7-6, 7-6 win at sixth singles.
The Pioneers will next play Friday, Sept. 21, at home against Ramapo at 4:00 p.m.
