Volleyball Improves to 8-1 with 3-0 Victory

Tamara Miller contributed 13 kills and 16 digs to the 3-0 victory at St. Joseph's-Long Island.

PATCHOGUE , N.Y. – The William Paterson volleyball team improved its record to 8-1 overall with a 3-0 victory at St. Joseph's-Long Island Sept. 15. The Pioneers' scores were 30-26, 30-28 and 30-18.

Senior Tamara Miller (Maplewood, N.J./Columbia) had a double-double with 13 kills and 16 digs, as did sophomore Kelly Helfrich (Clark, N.J./Arthur L. Johnson), who posted 13 kills and 20 digs. Senior Dana Hansen (Fair Lawn, N.J./Fair Lawn) contributed nine kills and 23 assists, and junior Mailyn Rodriguez (Hackensack, N.J./Hackensack) chipped in with 15 digs.

William Paterson will return to conference play Tuesday, Sept. 18, playing at Kean at 7:00 p.m.
