BRONX, N.Y. – The William Paterson women's basketball team (4-2) won its third straight game, a 72-59 decision at Lehman (3-3) Dec. 1.

The Pioneers shot 58.8 percent from the floor and 72 percent from the free-throw line during the second half to secure the victory. Senior Lori Custis (Roselle, N.J./Abraham Clark) was 8-of-14 (.571) from the field to score 18 points, adding eight rebounds and two steals, while sophomore Elisa Brown (Norwalk, Conn./Norwalk) made seven of 10 (.700) attempts for 16 points, dishing four assists. Senior Michelle Pellichero (Milltown, N.J./Bishop Ahr) rounded out William Paterson's double-digit scorers with 13 tallies.

William Paterson will return to the Rec Center to face FDU-Florham Wednesday, Dec. 5, at 6:00 p.m.
