The William Paterson football team (4-5, 2-4 NJAC) will finish the regular season and celebrate Senior Day when the Pioneers host Rowan (4-5, 2-4 NJAC) Saturday, Nov. 10, at 1:00 p.m.

SCOUTING WILLIAM PATERSON
William Paterson is 4-5 overall and 2-4 in New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) play this season following a 42-28 loss at Montclair State (7-2, 4-2 NJAC) Nov. 3.
Sophomore John Woodson (Bloomfield, N.J./Bloomfield) leads the Pioneer offense, completing 26 of 55 passes for 364 yards, three touchdowns and four interceptions. Senior Dan Lamego (North Arlington, N.J./Queen of Peace) has completed 72 of 140 passes for 815 yards, six touchdowns and five interceptions. Junior Shaun Puluse (Haledon, N.J./Passaic Tech) has carried 144 times for a team-best 459 yards, adding three touchdowns, while senior Ira Guilford (Jersey City, N.J./Hoboken) has 307 yards and five touchdowns on 118 carries. Sophomore Joel Rivera (Hoboken, N.J./Hoboken), the Sept. 16 ECAC Southeast Region and NJAC Offensive Player of the Week, has caught 29 passes for 451 yards and six touchdowns. Senior Kareen Moon (Staten Island, N.Y./Susan E. Wagner), the national leader in kickoff return average (36.1 yards/return), has caught 26 passes for 308 yards and a touchdown.
Sophomore linebacker Jared Burke (Egg Harbor Twp., N.J./Egg Harbor Twp.), the Nov. 4 NJAC Defensive Player of the Week, leads the Pioneers with 72 total tackles (46 solo), and has added two sacks and a pair of blocked kicks. Senior defensive lineman Brian Burd (Roxbury, N.J./Roxbury), the Oct. 14 NJAC Defensive Player of the Week, has made 53 tackles (29 solo, 14.5 for loss, 3.5 sacks), recovered a fumble, forced two fumbles and blocked a punt, while junior linebacker Mike Lamego (North Arlington, N.J./Queen of Peace) has recorded 51 tackles (34 solo), two sacks and a pair of interceptions.
Senior Ricky Krautman (Franklin Lakes, N.J./Ramapo), the Oct. 29 NJAC Special Teams Player of the Week, has punted 64 times for 2,168 yards (33.9 average), landing 18 inside the 20-yard line to establish a new WP single-season record. He has also made eight of 11 field-goal attempts and 15 of 19 PATs.
SCOUTING ROWAN
The Profs are 4-5 overall and 2-4 in NJAC play this season following a 17-6 loss at SUNY Cortland (7-2, 6-1 NJAC) Nov. 3.
Senior Joe Rankin has completed 52 of 117 passes for 449 yards, a touchdown and eight interceptions, while freshman Tim Hagerty is 54-of-113 for 685 yards, nine touchdowns and six INTs. Senior Rob Richardson has rushed 104 times for a team-best 539 yards and three touchdowns, while freshman Billy Magill has caught 21 passes for 203 yards and three touchdowns.
Sophomore linebacker Andrew Yezzi has made 71 tackles (40 solo), including 15.5 for loss. Senior defensive back Kelvin Bellamy has 61 total stops (46 solo) and six sacks, while senior linebacker Chris Niszczak has added 38 total tackles (20 solo).
