WAYNE, N.J. – The William Paterson volleyball team (20-10, 3-5 NJAC) lost to Ramapo (16-10, 4-3 NJAC) 30-24, 30-15, 30-26 in the Pioneers' final home match of the regular season Oct. 23.
Sophomore Maureen Hennecke led the Roadrunners with 13 kills, adding 10 digs, while senior Ashley Cornett contributed 35 assists. Senior Christine Simmons led Ramapo with 20 digs.

Tamara Miller (Maplewood, N.J./Columbia) paced the Pioneers with 11 kills, adding nine digs. Sophomore
Samantha Reed (Dumont, N.J./Dumont) had 23 digs, while senior setter/outsider hitter
Dana Hansen (Fair Lawn, N.J./Fair Lawn) had 19 assists, nine digs and three service aces.

Samantha Morgan (Clearfield, Pa./ Clearfield) – prior to the match.
William Paterson will finish the regular season with a pair of matches at King's Saturday, Oct. 27. The Pioneers will face the host at 11:00 a.m., and SUNY IT at 1:00 p.m. William Paterson will play in the first round of the NJAC Tournament Tuesday, Oct. 30, against an opponent to be determined.
