WAYNE, N.J. (SEPTEMBER 26, 2006) – The William Paterson volleyball team (4-11, 0-4 NJAC) could not hold on to an early 2-0 lead, losing in five games to Rutgers-Camden (3-5, 1-2 NJAC) Sept. 26 at the WPU Recreation Center.

The Pioneers jumped out to the early advantage, winning games one and two by scores of 30-26 and 30-23. However, the Scarlet Raptors rallied to even the score with wins of 33-31 and 30-25 to force a decisive fifth game, and earned the victory with a 15-12 triumph.

Junior outside hitter Michelle Banom (North Arlington, N.J.) posted a team-best 22 kills, while junior setter Dana Hansen (Fair Lawn, N.J.) added 41 assists and 13 digs.
