The William Paterson football team (1-7, 1-4 NJAC) will play its final home game of the 2006 season Saturday, Nov. 4, hosting Montclair State (5-3, 3-2 NJAC). Kickoff is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. at Wightman Stadium.

SCOUTING WILLIAM PATERSON
The Pioneers are 1-7 overall and 1-4 in NJAC play following a 20-17 loss at Kean (5-3, 3-2 NJAC) Oct. 28. William Paterson has faced a daunting schedule, taking on three teams that advanced to the 2005 NCAA Championship, and five of its seven losses have come by seven or fewer points.
Freshman
Bryan Petite (Center Reach, N.Y./Newfield) has completed 36 of 70 passes for 535 yards and two touchdowns in his three appearances under center. Sophomore
Mike Vicci (Clark, N.J./Arthur L. Johnson) has caught a team-best 34 balls for 178 yards, adding 227 yards on 76 carries, while freshman
Kieron Gardiner (Bloomfield, N.J./Bloomfield) has rushed 52 times for 188 yards. Junior
Kareen Moon (Staten Island, N.Y./Susan B. Wagner) has hauled in 25 passes for a team-high 485 yards.
Sophomore
Harold Green (Boonton, N.J./Boonton) leads the Pioneers with 61 tackles (41 solo, 20 assisted), and has added five interceptions, 10 passes broken up, one blocked kick, one fumble recovery, three sacks and eight tackles-for-loss. Senior
Todd Gorski (Howell, N.J./Freehold Twp.) has 55 tackles (36 solo, 19 assisted). Senior
Kyle Harkins (Milltown, N.J./Spotswood) is third for the Pioneers with 52 tackles (30 solo, 22 assisted), including seven for loss, senior All-American
Shadee Davis (New Brunswick, N.J./New Brunswick) has added 47 tackles (30 solo, 17 assisted), including eight for loss, and senior
Dan Casasnovas (Belleville, N.J./Passaic Valley) has 34 tackles (23 solo, 11 assisted), one fumble recovery, four interceptions and three blocked kicks.
SCOUTING MONTCLAIR STATE
The Red Hawks are 5-3 overall and 3-2 in NJAC play following a 27-20 overtime victory against No. 7 Rowan Oct. 28.
Michael Jump leads the Montclair State offense, completing 103 of 209 passes for 1,342 yards, 10 touchdowns and eight interceptions. Ryan McCoach has carried 163 times for a league-leading 699 yards, while Fred Carter has caught 22 passes for 370 yards.
Cornell Hunt has a team-best 85 tackles. Sal Fama has added 54 stops, and Eugene Pinkney has 47 tackles.
