WAYNE, N.J. – Softball sophomore second baseman Lindsey Nadolny (Belford, N.J./Middletown North) was named the William Paterson Pioneer of the Week April 13.

 

Nadolny hit .750 (9-12) with three RBI and five runs scored last week, as three of the hits (two doubles, one triple) were for extra bases, making for a 1.083 slugging percentage and a .786 on-base percentage. She was 2-for-3 during a 7-6 win against Kean April 7, and followed with a 3-for-4 effort, a double, RBI and two runs scored during a 6-1 win during the second game against the Cougars. Nadolny went 2-for-2, including a double, and added a RBI and two runs scored during an 8-0, five-inning win against Drew April 9, and she finished the day with a 2-for-3 effort, adding a triple, a run scored and a RBI, during a 4-2 game-two victory. She is hitting .563 (36-64) this season and owns a .797 slugging percentage, .611 on-base percentage, seven doubles, two home runs, 17 RBI and 17 runs scored to lead the New Jersey Athletic Conference in batting average, slugging percentage and on-base percentage in the most recent league statistics.
