WAYNE, N.J. – Baseball freshman pitcher Steve Coral (Totowa, N.J./Passaic Valley) was named the William Paterson Pioneer of the Week March 30.

Coral was 1-0 in two appearances last week for the Pioneers. He threw an inning of relief during an 11-3 victory against Manhattanville March 24, striking out one of the three batters he faced. Coral then started and pitched 6.0 innings of an 8-4 victory against Ramapo March 28, scattering five hits and allowing four runs while striking out two Roadrunners.
